Job Duties and Responsibilities
Role Summary: The Senior Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in optimizing Boost Mobile's pricing strategies and execution, leveraging deep analytical skills to understand market dynamics, competitive landscapes, customer behavior, and internal cost structures. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for defining, analyzing, and documenting pricing requirements, driving data-driven insights, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (including sales, marketing, product, finance, and IT) to implement and enhance pricing models, tools, and processes that contribute directly to subscriber growth, revenue growth and profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of pricing methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Pricing Strategy & Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of pricing data, market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities for pricing optimization and new pricing model development.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated pricing models, frameworks, and tools to support various pricing initiatives (e.g., new rate plans, promotional pricing, discount optimization).
- Perform profitability analysis for products, services, and customer segments to ensure pricing decisions align with financial objectives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing pricing strategies and recommend adjustments based on performance metrics and market feedback.
Data & Reporting:
- Identify, source, and analyze relevant internal and external data sets to support pricing analysis and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain pricing dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor pricing performance and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within pricing systems and reports.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as a subject matter expert on pricing, providing guidance and support to various business units.
- Present complex analytical findings and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams in a clear and compelling manner.
- Foster strong working relationships with sales, marketing, product, finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment on pricing initiatives.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a data-driven analytics or strategy role
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience building models, forecasts, budget, and dynamic reports with SQL, Tableau, and Excel that provide meaningful direction and insight
- Proven expertise in financial and data analytics, including the development of complex financial models and data visualization
- Experience preparing and delivering presentations tailored for a specific audience
- Excellent project management skills
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year
