Department Summary
Our Wireless Technology team is transforming the future of connectivity by building and enhancing the country’s first virtualized, standalone 5G wireless network from scratch. Our network is free of the limitations of the past, and flexible to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of the changing world.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer Linux systems and AWS resources to ensure optimal performance and security
Deploy applications using Ansible for configuration management and automation
Develop Ansible playbooks to streamline deployments across Linux environments
Manage AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, S3, Kubernetes) with focus on scaling and container orchestration
Integrate with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automate monitoring, upgrades, and security patches
Troubleshoot Linux, Kubernetes, and container issues while documenting processes and collaborating within Scrum teams
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least three years of experience managing Linux platforms in private cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments
Skills and Qualifications:
Skilled in Linux systems, microservices deployment, and container orchestration in cloud environments
Proficient in Ansible and YAML for automation, with experience creating advanced playbooks and roles
Experienced in managing Kubernetes clusters, networking, ingress controllers, and storage on Linux
Strong scripting background using Python, Perl, or BASH for automation and troubleshooting
Effective communicator with strong documentation and collaboration skills in Agile environments
Familiar with ITIL/Lean principles; certifications like LPIC, RHCSA, or Ansible are a plus
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
