Department Summary
Our Wireless Technology team is transforming the future of connectivity by building and enhancing the country’s first virtualized, standalone 5G wireless network from scratch. Our network is free of the limitations of the past, and flexible to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of the changing world.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Linux system administration and AWS resource management to ensure performance and security
Assist with application deployment and configuration automation using Ansible and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
Contribute to Ansible playbook development and monitor systems using tools like Grafana and Prometheus
Gain hands-on experience with AWS services (VPC, EC2, S3, Kubernetes) and identify opportunities for optimization
Help automate monitoring, patching, backups, and issue resolution for Linux and Windows environments
Collaborate within Scrum teams to document processes and support design and automation initiatives
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education
- Up to two years of experience managing Linux platforms in private cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic hands-on experience with Linux systems in a cloud environment, deploying applications, and an understanding of container orchestration
- Familiarity with Ansible for automation and configuration management, with basic knowledge of YAML for playbook creation
- Understanding of Kubernetes concepts, including basic networking and persistent storage management on Linux
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation and teamwork
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,400.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
