Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Lead Security Engineer of IAM will drive multiple projects simultaneously and hands-on engineering of IAM solutions. Operating within DevOps and Agile frameworks as part of our Product Management Model, an ideal candidate will have strong soft skills and engineering skills. Team Player mentality is a must. This position will require strong Program/Product Management skills and is expected to lead team-members in assignment of and completion of tasks, with an ability to keep projects on schedule as well as assist with strategic IAM direction.
Lead team-members through the engineering of IAM solutions in Okta on across access, identity and governance functions
Lead or coordinate the IAM team’s work and keep projects on schedule
Influence and align key stakeholders
Manage implementations and releases via CI/CD strategies
Implementation of IAM technologies such as okta workflows, using inline hooks, okta identity engine, integration with upstream and downstream applications, data analytics and reporting
Address issues and break down problems to be solved
Skills, Experience and Requirements
8-12 years of direct experience within Identity Access Management (IAM)
5+ years of hands-on technical IAM engineering experience using Okta
3+ years of leading resources
General understanding of DevOps Methodology
Strong team player that works well horizontally and vertically with others of varying skill levels and experience
Ability to clearly define and present solution development ideas in a team environment
Product/Program management leadership
Education
Bachelor degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience
