Perform RF design activities related to building the first standalone 5G broadband network; Optimize the end-to-end RF design, propagation modeling and prediction for deployment of Macro Cell deployment; Determine equipment and power configurations; Work with gNB/RAN and UE teams on RF solutions including modifications to RF link budgets; Work with RF Management to establish design criteria, link budget and traffic analysis for network design and update existing performance parameters for ongoing improvements; Define Radio Access Network optimized baseline parameters values to improve system performance; Work with the different technical teams to identify network improvements; Perform field test to validate network performance and identify points of optimization improvements; Attend site-walks on Radio Base Station locations to propose the most efficient.

Requires: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field plus 5 years of relevant LTE RF Design experience in job offered or in Design/Optimization or Operations roles. Also requires 3 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

Providing Radio Frequency Support.

LTE Radio Frequency design and optimization.

Planet or Atoll.
\n
Using drive test data post-processing, map generation, frequency planning and interference matrix analysis.
