DIRECTV is seeking an experienced Director of Strategic Partner Management to lead our company's efforts to develop, manage, and maximize key channel partnerships. The Director will create and execute a partnership strategy to drive growth, profitability, and competitive advantage for the company. The Director will manage the external (partner) call center relationship while establishing and implementing overall product/service standards for the external (partner) call center to ensure quality and consistency. In this role, you will direct a broad range of customer support and service activities to ensure high quality service is provided in the resolution of customer questions and issues.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Responsible for the resolution of complex customer questions/issues.
  • Develop process improvement plans to meet customer or business sales and service expectations.
  • Perform coaching, development, and performance management functions for subordinate staff.
  • Develop and execute on joint strategic partnership plans with defined objectives, KPIs, and timelines.
  • Day-to-day management of the strategic partner relationships.
  • Continuously find ways to add value to partners and deepen relationships.
  • Work cross-functionally to enable smooth partner integrations and ongoing success.
  • Be the voice of the partner and advocate for their needs within the company.
  • Track and analyze partnership KPIs and report on health, risks, and opportunities.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • 5+ years of collection and retention experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Influential collaborator able to gain internal and external stakeholder buy-in.
  • Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence with ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Natural partnership builder and relationship cultivator.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong product and system knowledge in agent facing tools used in Service, Loyalty, and Sales teams.
  • Significant virtual engagement experience with strong ability to influence and deliver accountability.

This role requires a minimum, but is not limited to, approximately 30% travel, domestically and international.

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. #LI-Remote

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $96,140 - $174,570

Low (N1): $96,140 - $144,210

Mid (N2): $101,200 - $151,800

High (N3): $111,320 - $166,980

Top (N4): $116,380 - $174,570
