DIRECTV Marketing is looking for an innovative and experienced Lead Media Manager to join our Paid Search team. Reporting to the Paid Search Director, the Lead Media Manager will be responsible for providing strategic paid search leadership and business solutions to facilitate online subscriptions through paid search. In this role, the Lead Media Manager will analyze business requirements, align paid search solutions, provide oversight, and own the paid search program execution. As an innovative leader of a performance driven search team responsible for the execution of SEM, you will be expected to forge a deep partnership with the marketing, sales, service, and web design teams to execute a best in class paid search program. To be successful in this role an expert knowledge of paid search performance optimization levers is a must to maintain high quality customer interaction across all customer touch points. This person will also have an in-depth knowledge of attribution models as well as advanced research and analysis experience to efficiently drive new customer acquisition, and retention/growth (upsell) of existing customers for DIRECTV.

Supports channel sub-team charters to drive excellence in the following areas:

  • E-Commerce optimization, strategy, and tactics as well as business data analysis.
  • SEM tactical support to align with overall DIRECTV paid search strategy.
  • Drives creative and brand enhancements via product enhancements, seasonal initiatives, sales priorities, and competitive marketing tactics.
  • Testing and benchmarking of marketing tactics deployed both internally and external competitors.
  • Knowledge of sales channels to build strong channel partnerships with the Sales, Web Design, and Service leadership teams.
  • Training, coaching, and accountability expectations.
  • Establishing best practices to scale across the Digital eCommerce organization.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree or equivalent experience in Media / Media Agency preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in media planning and strategy.
  • Skilled in SA360 required.
  • Working knowledge of the organization (products, processes, procedures, tools, applications, systems, new function capabilities, sales, and service etc.) coupled with a strong business background to fully support the organization.
  • Documented experience working high value paid search campaigns in coordination with other media channels.
  • Experience working on acquisition campaigns, subscriber business experience preferred.
  • Project Management Skills.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $96,140 - $174,570

Low (N1): $96,140 - $144,210

Mid (N2): $101,200 - $151,800

High (N3): $111,320 - $166,980

Top (N4): $116,380 - $174,570
