DIRECTV is seeking an Account Manager for Carrier Partner Sales responsible for day-to-day account management of a large Telco partner primarily in the Eastern/Central United States. The Account Manager will manage key carrier partner relationships and grow carrier revenue through strategic sales initiatives. This position will build strong relationships with carrier partners, identify revenue growth opportunities, negotiate pricing/terms, and close sales to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

Here's what you’ll do:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing carrier partners to achieve sales targets and identify new potential partners.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with carriers on current performance, issues, and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute on growth strategies and sales campaigns to drive more revenue from carrier partners.
  • Work closely with marketing, finance, and operations to improve processes and align on sales initiatives.
  • Negotiate pricing, rates, and contractual terms with carriers.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and RFP responses to carriers.
  • Travel to visit carriers and attend industry conferences and events.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of B2B outside sales experience in Telco industries.
  • Existing relationships with key carriers preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Strong time management and organization.
  • Proactive relationship building skills.
  • Consultative approach to supporting carriers.
  • Team player with ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Creative problem solving.
  • Tenacious follow-up and attention to detail.

This role requires, but is not limited to, 50% travel.

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference to the Eastern United States allowing proximity to primary account locations. #LI-Remote

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES $65,645 - $119,255

Low (N1): $65,645 - $98,515

Mid (N2): $69,100 - $103,700

High (N3): $76,010 - $114,070

Top (N4): $79,465 - $119,255
