If you see technology as a way to smooth your path in life, our team does too: Your Path, Our Journey.
We believe in technology that connects talented people who embrace diversity to create and share paths we don't even know about (yet!). We work to generate value not only for our users but, above all, for the communities we serve and for society as a whole, making every day better for everyone with mobility and delivery services (99) or digital payments (99Pay).
To make life easier for millions of people every day, since 2018, we have been part of DiDi DiDi Global Inc., the world’s leading mobility technology platform. We are pioneers in creating innovative solutions that start in Brazil and scale up to make a positive impact in more than 12 countries where DiDi operates. This innovation encompasses sustainability, safety, artificial intelligence, financial markets, and much more.
Whether building projects from scratch or improving our solutions, we enjoy challenges that give us butterflies, which is why we work at a fast pace with respect, collaboration, and good humor. Along this journey, we also draw strength from diverse experiences and opinions to grow together, fail quickly, learn, and adjust the course to create solutions that deliver even better results.
#LI-HybridTeam Overview
As a Pricing Manager at 99/DiDi, you will lead the design, optimization, and governance of dynamic pricing strategies that drive ride revenue, utilization, and user experience across millions of daily trips. Your work will directly influence core marketplace metrics such as revenue per trip, conversion rate, and driver supply balance, ensuring sustainable growth and regional scalability.
You will join DiDi’s Pricing team within the Logistics Product organization, whose mission is to deliver fair, competitive, and scalable price mechanisms that support growth, maximize platform efficiency, and preserve marketplace equilibrium across regions. In this role, you will manage pricing initiatives end-to-end, coordinate cross-functional execution, and act as a strategic partner to Product, Operations, and Commercial leadership.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of large-scale trip, demand, and supply datasets to identify pricing opportunities, quantify business impact, and define strategic pricing priorities across regions.
- Own the development and evolution of dynamic pricing models and algorithms (e.g., surge, time-based, and distance/time fare components) in close collaboration with Data Science and Engineering, ensuring robustness, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
- Drive end-to-end experimentation strategy, defining success metrics, overseeing test execution, and delivering clear, data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Oversee marketplace health through strategic dashboards and governance routines; coordinate mitigation actions to protect supply-demand balance and service levels during peak events or critical scenarios.
- Build and lead pricing playbooks, scenario analyses, and regional frameworks, translating complex model outputs into actionable guidance aligned with local regulation, operational constraints, and commercial goals.
- Partner with Finance, Commercial, and Legal teams to evaluate new pricing products, promotional strategies, and incentive structures, balancing short-term revenue performance with long-term elasticity and marketplace sustainability.
- Coordinate and mentor junior analysts, ensuring analytical quality, prioritization, and consistent methodology across pricing initiatives.
Role Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, marketplace strategy, consulting, financial planning, or business intelligence, with demonstrated ownership of complex analytical projects.
- Advanced SQL skills for large-scale data analysis; experience working with data science or modeling teams is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex quantitative analysis into clear strategic and commercial recommendations for Product, Operations, Sales, and Finance leadership.
- Strategic and results-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-moving, cross-regional environment.
- Professional proficiency in English
