Team Overview

The Product Operations team's mission is to ease the communication, sharing of resources and data between departments. It's an essential role to help cross-functional teams to work effectively and efficiently. This position will act as a focal point in projects related to new and released features, working directly with Product, Algorithm and Business teams, developing and iterating the features that best help us to optimize our business metrics.

Product and Algorithm teams are not located in Brazil, so daily international contact and stakeholder management is a significant part of your daily work. This position will also centralize information, communications and results, so project management and organization skills would be a great plus.

This position will develop projects related to metrics optimization algorithms, so a person with strong analytical background, attention to details and ability to connect different variables in a single action is what we are looking for.

Role Responsibilities

Acting as a focal point for projects of new features related to algorithms to optimize business efficiency;

Analyzing the impacts of the tests on the Marketplace metrics, creating queries and assisting the teams in decision making;

Organizing project informations, developments, results and relases to keep all the project-related data documented;

Developing trustful relationships to transparently communicate and align with company stakeholders, including Chinese teams, Brazilian Operations, Marketing, Customer Support, Safety, Legal, Finance, etc.

Helping the teams to check the problems (bugs) in the features under the scope of the team;

Role Qualifications

Soft Skills: Analytical skills (required), proactivity (required), organization (preferred), interpersonal communication (preferred);

Hard Skills: Google Spreadsheets or Microsoft Excel (Required), SQL (preferred), Python (preferred);

Educational Background: If you have a background in building algorithms and Machine Learning, it will be a plus;

Languages: Advanced English (required).
