About the team/role

The Merchant Growth Planning team acts as the financial and tactical bridge between Growth strategy (B-side) and Sales execution (C-side). This team ensures that all commercial initiatives are financially coherent and strategically aligned with the company’s P&L goals. As the Merchant Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for executing, monitoring, and reporting the performance metrics related to commercial policies, pricing, and merchant investment models. This position provides essential analytical support for the decision-making process within Growth and Sales.

In this role, you'll be...

  • Executing routine performance analysis to monitor the effectiveness and ROI of ongoing promotional and incentive programs.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and update of financial models used for assessing the impact of commercial policy changes.
  • Gathering and organizing data from Go-to-Market, Sales Goals, and Finance systems to feed merchant prioritization frameworks.
  • Building and updating standardized dashboards and reports to track merchant performance by segment, city, or category.
  • Supporting the preparation of P&L summaries and performance reports for internal reviews and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborating with the Sr Analyst and Manager to translate business directives into analytical tasks and data requirements.
  • Ensuring data quality and consistency used in all commercial performance reporting.

We're eager to be in touch because you have...

  • 2–3 years of experience in data analysis within Sales Operations, Trade Marketing, or Commercial Planning.
  • Foundational understanding of P&L components and sales incentive mechanisms.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; basic familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau) is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to manage routine data processing and deliver high-quality reports on schedule.
  • Good communication skills, capable of articulating data findings clearly.
  • Portuguese proficiency (mandatory); English highly recommended.
  • A detail-oriented and diligent approach to data handling and reporting.
