DiDi Localization team is responsible for localizing its various overseas apps using a combination of project management expertise and L10N/I18N tech solutions. We're looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and experienced Localization Project Manager to partner closely with the Product Managers, Language Specialists, Engineering, LSP, and local ops teams to deliver high-quality content, and ensure our localization platforms and language technologies effectively support DiDi’s ongoing localization requirements to enable DiDi’s continuous global growth.
Responsibilities
• Manage localization projects in a fast‐paced environment, including working with product and business teams to understand project goals, writing L10N project plans, and coordinating internal language specialists and external vendors to ensure new features / product launch could be delivered on time with high quality;
• Build and develop localization abilities such as CMS platform enhancement, machine translation and GenAI application,TM management, style guild, quality upstream, process optimization etc., aiming to improve translation quality, team efficiency and global customer satisfaction at company wise.
• Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to promote best practices and ensure those are followed to minimize downstream issues and decrease cost and time-to-market for the localized versions;
• Vendor and quality management;
• Evangelize L10N and I18N knowledge to stakeholders.
任职要求
• Bachelor's Degree in a field related to translation, localization, language studies, international studies, or computer science;
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in localization industry, proficient in localization project management or translation project management;
• Good knowledge of Translation Management Platforms or tools such as Phrase, Trados, etc.;
• Good understanding of software development, localization, and QA cycles;
• Excellent in verbal and written English, ability to use English as a working language, ability to work across time zones and cultures;
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to make data and metrics over language quality, vendor performance, and localization insights accessible to a non-expert audience, adept at conveying localization subject matter to non-localization stakeholders;
• Superior attention to detail with the ability to multitask;
• Fast-learning, adaptive team player.
