Overview: We are looking to add a highly skilled IT End User Computing Specialist to our technology team. This position is key in delivering support and improvements to our end-user computing environment within a dynamic and fast-paced organization. The specialist will manage, support, and ensure the reliability and effectiveness of IT resources. Key Accountabilities: - Follow the deployment and configurations of personal computers, smartphones, network equipment, and peripherals. - Monitor computer systems and networks to maintain appropriate performance levels. - Provide 1st and 2nd level onsite support to end users to resolve their technology problems with a high standard of customer service. - Manage projects related to end-user computing, including mobile device management, end-user compliance, cybersecurity projects, and enforcement initiatives. - Help in implementing new solutions and improvements in IT services. - Second-line technical support of the internal services, guaranteeing their performance and effectiveness. - Document internal procedures, including guides and FAQs for the end user's reference. - Leverage ITSM platforms to detect and correct problems, ensuring that IT issues are systematically tracked and managed. - Interact with other team members on different IT projects and initiatives. Technical Skills Required: - Windows Client: Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and support. - Linux Client: Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Linux-based systems. - Apple Client: Strong experience with macOS and Apple device support. - Android & iOS: Expertise in managing and supporting Android and iOS devices. - MDM (Mobile Device Management): Experience in configuring and managing MDM solutions for mobile devices. - ITSM (IT Service Management): Proficient in using ITSM platforms to manage and track IT issues. - Azure Virtual Desktop: Experience in deploying and managing Azure Virtual Desktop environments. - Intune: Strong skills in using Microsoft Intune for device management and security. - Scripting: Ability to automate tasks and improve efficiency using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Qualifications: - Experience: Proven experience in end-user support, network administration, and troubleshooting in environments with Microsoft, Linux, and Apple devices. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to deliver within tight deadlines. - Demonstrated communication skills. - Demonstrated time management skills. - Ability to give and receive constructive feedback. - Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing effectively. Following certifications are a plus: - Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate - CompTIA A+ - Apple Device Support Skills Needed: - Experience with ITSM platforms. - Demonstrated capacity in managing and leading focused IT projects on end-user computing.
