About The Opportunity
An established enterprise cybersecurity organization is seeking a senior-level Security Account Manager to drive strategic growth within major telecommunications and carrier accounts. This is a highly visible role focused on developing executive relationships, expanding enterprise security partnerships, and delivering advanced network protection solutions to large-scale service provider environments.
The ideal candidate is a consultative enterprise seller with deep experience in network security, DDoS mitigation, and service provider ecosystems. You understand how to navigate complex organizations, engage both technical and executive stakeholders, and position sophisticated security technologies in environments where uptime, resiliency, and threat protection are mission critical.
This role is designed for a driven sales professional who thrives in competitive enterprise markets, enjoys building trusted customer relationships, and consistently exceeds revenue goals.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Enterprise Sales Leadership
Own and grow a portfolio of strategic Tier-1 telecommunications and service provider accounts across an assigned territory.
Drive the complete enterprise sales lifecycle including opportunity creation, pipeline management, strategic account planning, negotiation, and deal closure.
Develop and execute territory strategies focused on long-term customer expansion, recurring revenue growth, and executive engagement.
Maintain strong forecasting discipline while building and managing a healthy pipeline designed to consistently exceed quota expectations.
Customer Relationship Development
Establish and strengthen relationships with senior security leadership including CISOs, security operations leaders, infrastructure executives, and technical decision-makers.
Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer operational priorities, cybersecurity challenges, and evolving network protection requirements.
Navigate large enterprise environments by building relationships across technical teams, procurement groups, executive leadership, and operational stakeholders.
Solution-Oriented Selling
Position advanced security and DDoS protection technologies by aligning platform capabilities with measurable business and operational outcomes.
Work closely with Sales Engineering and technical teams to deliver compelling demonstrations, architecture discussions, and solution strategies.
Identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts while proactively uncovering new business opportunities across the territory.
Maintain strong market awareness around cybersecurity trends, telecommunications infrastructure, and evolving threat landscapes.
What You Bring
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
Travel & Territory
This role supports major telecommunications accounts across the East Coast and requires regular travel to key customer locations including Dallas, Atlanta, New Jersey, and Seattle.
Travel expectations are approximately 60% depending on customer engagements, strategic meetings, and industry events.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are a highly motivated enterprise sales professional who understands how to operate within large-scale telecommunications environments and build credibility with executive security leadership.
You combine technical fluency with commercial acumen, know how to manage long enterprise sales cycles, and thrive in fast-moving, high-accountability environments.
You are proactive, strategic, relationship-driven, and comfortable owning both customer growth and revenue performance.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base compensation paired with a high-impact commission structure designed to reward top performance.
Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare coverage, retirement savings options, paid time off, life and disability insurance, and professional development support.
Additional employee-focused programs may include tuition assistance, wellness offerings, and flexible spending account options.
