About The Role

This is a high-impact, quota-carrying sales role designed for a strategic and driven professional who understands how to navigate complex federal sales cycles—particularly within the Department of Defense. You will play a central role in expanding the organization’s footprint across defense and federal civilian agencies by introducing cutting-edge AI-driven solutions to mission-critical challenges.

The ideal candidate combines deep domain knowledge with a consultative sales approach—someone who can engage senior stakeholders, uncover operational pain points, and align advanced technologies with real-world mission outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Own the Full Sales Lifecycle

Lead opportunities from early-stage identification through contract execution—managing pipeline health, forecasting, and deal progression to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.

Develop Strategic Accounts

Build and execute targeted account strategies across key defense and federal civilian organizations, identifying high-value opportunities and expanding relationships within complex agencies.

Engage Mission-Focused Stakeholders

Establish credibility with senior leaders, operators, and technical teams by understanding mission priorities and positioning solutions that deliver measurable operational impact.

Drive Solution-Based Selling

Act as a trusted advisor by connecting advanced AI and data capabilities to real-world defense applications such as:

  • Asset readiness and sustainment across air, land, and maritime systems
  • Logistics optimization and supply chain visibility
  • Operational planning and mission availability
  • Medical readiness and personnel performance

Collaborate Across Teams

Partner with pre-sales, product, marketing, and delivery teams to craft compelling proposals, demonstrations, and responses to RFI/RFP opportunities.

Navigate the Federal Landscape

Maintain a strong understanding of government procurement processes, contract vehicles, and evolving market dynamics to effectively position solutions.

What You Bring

Federal Sales Experience

5+ years of success in a quota-carrying role selling into federal agencies, with a strong emphasis on Department of Defense environments.

Mission-Aligned Sales Expertise (Highly Preferred)

Direct experience selling into DoD mission areas—including the U.S. Air Force, Navy, National Security (NATSEC), or Joint Combatant Commands—is strongly preferred.

Technical Solution Selling

Experience selling enterprise software, AI/ML platforms, data analytics tools, or similarly complex technology solutions.

Strategic Account Management

Proven ability to build and execute account plans, manage long sales cycles, and influence multiple stakeholders.

Communication & Influence

Exceptional ability to present complex solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Self-Driven Execution

Comfort operating independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while collaborating across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Established relationships within defense logistics, sustainment, or readiness communities.

Familiarity with federal acquisition processes and contract vehicles.

Experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, MEDPIC, or Challenger.

Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
