Logistics & Quality Operations Coordinator — Shipping & Claims Management

You’ll play a key role in ensuring shipping accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and strengthening processes across warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-moving, supply chain-driven environment.
Role Overview
In this position, you will act as a central point of coordination between warehouse teams, third-party logistics providers, and internal stakeholders. You’ll investigate shipment issues, support claims resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality and operational efficiency.
This is a hands-on role that combines analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and real-world operational support across both office and warehouse settings.
Key Responsibilities
Shipment Discrepancy Resolution
Partner with logistics teams and third-party providers to identify, investigate, and resolve shipping discrepancies, ensuring accurate and timely outcomes.
Root Cause Analysis & Process Improvement
Analyze recurring issues, uncover underlying causes, and implement corrective actions to improve quality, reduce errors, and prevent future discrepancies.
Claims Coordination
Facilitate the end-to-end claims process by working closely with shipping teams and claims specialists to ensure efficient resolution and proper documentation.
Quality Support
Assist broader quality initiatives by contributing to audits, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts that drive operational excellence.
Container Program Oversight
Help manage and track returnable packaging programs, ensuring accountability, proper usage, and efficient circulation of materials.
Data Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and analyze data to support decision-making and performance tracking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams, warehouse personnel, and external partners to align on priorities, resolve issues, and maintain smooth operations.

Technical Proficiency
Experience with common business tools such as Excel, reporting systems, and databases, including data entry and report generation.

Work Environment & Requirements
This role operates across both office and warehouse environments, requiring flexibility and comfort working on-site within a large distribution setting.
Occasional physical activity may be required, including lifting materials (up to approximately 35 lbs.) and extended periods of standing or walking.
Preferred Background
A degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent experience is also valued.
