Engineering Manager — Internal Platforms & AI-Driven Systems

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams, supporting hiring, onboarding, and career development. Create an environment where engineers can grow, collaborate effectively, and deliver high-quality work.
End-to-End Ownership
Oversee the full lifecycle of internal systems—from design and development through deployment and ongoing optimization. Ensure teams consistently deliver on commitments while managing risks and dependencies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and system improvements. Translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions.
AI & Automation Enablement
Champion the use of modern AI tools and workflows to enhance productivity and innovation. Support teams in adopting AI-driven approaches to solve complex operational challenges.
Platform & Workflow Optimization
Continuously improve internal systems, processes, and tools to support organizational growth. Ensure platforms can scale efficiently as usage and complexity increase.

What You Bring
Experience
6–8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including building and operating scalable, full-stack applications in production environments.
Leadership
5+ years of experience managing engineering teams, with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives over extended timelines.
Technical Expertise
Strong understanding of modern web architectures, distributed systems, and scalable platform design.
AI & Automation Mindset
Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and frameworks to improve engineering productivity and build intelligent systems.
System Ownership
Proven ability to take projects from concept through delivery, including planning, execution, and risk management.
Communication & Influence
Strong ability to align technical and business stakeholders, clearly communicate priorities, and drive execution across teams.
People Leadership
Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
