Member of Technical Staff — Full Stack Engineering (Financial Technology)
Build the systems that power modern financial operations from end to end. A rapidly expanding financial technology platform is redefining how B2B organizations manage accounts receivable—replacing outdated, manual processes with intelligent, scalable software. Supporting industries such as manufacturing, chemicals, and industrial operations, the platform enables finance teams to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and accelerate cash flow.
This role offers the opportunity to design and deliver full stack systems that directly impact how businesses operate—bringing together backend infrastructure, frontend experiences, and seamless integrations into a unified platform.
Role Overview
As a Full Stack Engineer at the Member of Technical Staff level, you will take ownership of building and scaling features across the entire technology stack. From designing APIs and data models to crafting intuitive user interfaces, you will deliver end-to-end solutions that power critical financial workflows.
This is a highly impactful role for someone who enjoys working across systems, solving complex problems, and seeing their work deployed into production environments that support real-world business operations. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams—and directly with users—to ensure solutions are both technically robust and highly usable.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End System Development
Design, develop, and deploy full stack features that span backend services, APIs, databases, and frontend applications. Ensure seamless integration and data flow across all components of the system.
Technical Architecture & Design
Contribute to the overall architecture of the platform by designing scalable systems that support growth, performance, and maintainability.
Backend Engineering
Build and optimize backend services, APIs, and microservices that handle complex financial data and workflows with reliability and efficiency.
Frontend Development
Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces that simplify complex financial processes and provide clear, actionable insights for users.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
Performance & Scalability
Ensure systems are optimized for performance and can scale effectively as usage and data volumes increase.
Engineering Excellence
Continuously improve development practices, tooling, and workflows to enhance code quality, system reliability, and team productivity.
Customer-Centric Development
Engage directly with users to understand their workflows and build solutions that address real operational challenges.
Team Growth & Mentorship
Support and mentor other engineers while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.
Required Qualifications
Full Stack Experience
At least five years of experience building and delivering full stack applications in production environments.
Programming Expertise
Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with experience developing both backend services and frontend applications.
System Design
Experience designing scalable architectures, including database design, API development, and system integration.
Frontend Technologies
Experience working with modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
Backend Frameworks
Experience with frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Flask, or Node.js.
Cloud & Infrastructure
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, as well as containerization and deployment pipelines.
DevOps & CI/CD
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices that support efficient and reliable software delivery.
Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, well-structured technical solutions.
Collaboration
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
What Makes a Strong Candidate
Experience working in fast-paced, early-stage environments where systems and processes are built from the ground up.
Ability to take ownership of projects from initial concept through production and scaling.
Passion for building systems that are both technically robust and highly user-friendly.
Comfort engaging directly with customers to understand and solve real-world problems.
Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to a strong engineering culture.
A continuous learning mindset with a drive to improve both technical skills and product outcomes.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a strong base salary and equity participation.
Full-time employees may receive comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings options with employer contributions, flexible paid time off, and parental leave.
This is an opportunity to build full stack systems that transform financial operations—bringing intelligence, automation, and efficiency to workflows that have long remained manual and complex.
