What You’ll Do
- Own architecture for a portfolio of services; drive decomposition and modernization where needed.
- Mentor senior engineers through design, implementation, and operational excellence.
- Define and track SLIs/SLOs; lead postmortems and systemic reliability improvements.
- Partner with PM/Design/Analytics on roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
- Champion platform-level investments and the “paved road” for teams.
- 8+ years software experience including leading multi-team projects.
- Expertise in distributed systems, storage, networking, and cloud architecture.
- Proven record of shipping at scale and improving engineering culture.
