We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead a team building high-scale, mission-critical systems. You will manage engineering execution, mentor senior developers, and help define technical strategy to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable software.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow engineering teams, setting goals, providing coaching and feedback.
- Define and drive technical roadmap, architecture, and best practices.
- Oversee development lifecycle: planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability for production services.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and other stakeholders to align engineering solutions with business goals.
- Influence culture: improve code quality, documentation, observability, and operational maturity.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience; 3+ years leading engineering teams.
- Strong technical background in backend or full-stack systems: services, APIs, distributed systems.
- Proficiency in languages like Java, Go, Python, or similar.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD, automated deployments.
- Track record of delivering high-availability, low-latency software in production.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
