Senior Software Engineer — High-Throughput Data Platform
About The Role

You will work with technologies such as Python, C++, Celery, RabbitMQ, and Kafka to power large-scale, low-latency data workflows.
The Platform
The platform enables financial institutions and enterprises to request and receive large volumes of diverse datasets (for example: ESG, company fundamentals, pricing, corporate actions, regulatory and reference data). Every day, the system moves hundreds of billions of data points through managed, highly distributed workflows that create, verify, and deliver thousands of datasets with a focus on high availability, low latency, and resiliency.
What You’ll Do
Salary Range: $160,000 – $240,000 USD annually, plus benefits and bonus.

What You’ll Do
- Design complex data workflows in code and understand their scope, blast radius, and impact.
- Build robust microservices and tools to transform and deliver data in a fast-evolving environment.
- Scale distributed architectures to handle massive pipelines and stringent SLAs.
- 4+ years of experience with an object-oriented programming language (Python, Java, or C++).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing large-scale applications and distributed services.
- Proven problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in low-latency, high-volume, highly available distributed systems (deployment, monitoring, fault tolerance).
- Experience developing software in Linux environments.
- Proficiency with debuggers, memory profilers, and application performance tools.
- Hands-on with observability and monitoring platforms or services.
- Experience with agile or iterative development practices.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
