Key Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve distributed systems handling massive read/write volumes.
- Drive consistency: API guidelines, schema evolution, idempotency, and backpressure.
- Guide performance work: indexing strategies, caching tiers, hot-path profiling.
- Mentor Staff/Senior engineers; influence hiring and leveling standards.
- Partner with security/compliance on privacy, retention, and auditability.
- 10+ years backend experience with proven impact at scale.
- Expert in at least one: Go/Java/C++ and deep systems understanding.
- Track record of cross-org leadership and durable architectures.
