You will work alongside engineers, architects, and business partners who value collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and operate cloud and automation solutions that power mission critical business applications. Your work will directly influence release velocity, system stability, and operational excellence. This role blends hands on engineering with technical leadership, giving you the opportunity to shape standards, mentor others, and drive meaningful change across the delivery lifecycle.

What You Will Do

DevOps and Automation

  • Design, maintain, and evolve automation frameworks supporting build, test, release, and monitoring workflows
  • Develop scripts and tooling to streamline deployment pipelines and infrastructure operations using PowerShell, shell scripting, XML, and JSON
  • Build and manage end to end CI and CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related services
  • Define and enforce source control practices, including branching strategies and quality gates

Cloud and Platform Engineering

  • Implement and operate Azure platform services such as application hosting, data services, identity and secrets management, and container platforms
  • Automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources using templates and scripting
  • Monitor performance, availability, and cost efficiency of cloud workloads and recommend improvements
  • Partner with teams to ensure cloud architectures are scalable, resilient, and secure

Project Leadership and Collaboration

  • Contribute to medium and large scale initiatives with clear ownership of delivery outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with application teams to improve deployment reliability and speed
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers, serving as a technical resource and escalation point
  • Help define DevOps standards, patterns, and best practices across teams

Operations and Support

  • Provide advanced support for complex production issues related to infrastructure and deployments
  • Monitor pipeline health and respond quickly to failures or incidents
  • Support audit, compliance, and reporting requirements related to deployments and access
  • Participate in on call rotations, including occasional evenings or weekends

Strategy and Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to long term infrastructure and platform roadmaps
  • Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to improve reliability, security, and efficiency
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, and standards
  • Stay current with industry best practices through learning, research, and community engagement

What We Are Looking For

  • Five or more years of experience in DevOps, configuration management, or a closely related engineering role
  • Strong expertise building and maintaining CI and CD pipelines, especially with Azure DevOps
  • Advanced scripting skills using PowerShell and shell based tools
  • Hands on experience with source control systems and modern branching strategies
  • At least three years designing, deploying, and operating Azure platform services
  • Solid background supporting Windows based systems, including servers, databases, IIS, and scheduled services
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure focused certifications in administration or DevOps engineering
  • Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments
  • Comfort operating across development, infrastructure, and operations disciplines
