Senior Software Engineer, AI Systems for Global Commodities Operations

We are building an AI driven digital operator for physical commodities, a platform that continuously understands trade workflows, reconciles transactions, detects operational risk, and delivers real time clarity across complex supply chains.

We are seeking a senior or staff level engineer who thrives in startup conditions, someone who combines deep technical judgment with strong autonomy and pride in shipping real customer impact.
This role is ideal for builders who want more than coding tickets. You will design, deploy, and scale agentic systems powered by large language models that operate in production and directly reshape how operational teams interact with complex data.

- Have real experience shipping AI systems, including retrieval workflows, orchestration, structured extraction, evaluation, or agent design.
- Are deeply curious about applied AI, logistics, global trade, and the operational problems hidden inside complex industries.
- Enjoy early stage environments, where the roadmap is evolving and builders shape the future through action.
- Core infrastructure that powers an intelligent automation platform for commodities execution.
- Agentic AI components capable of reasoning over unstructured trade data and making workflow decisions at scale.
- End to end systems spanning backend services, data pipelines, model orchestration, and user facing operational tooling.
- Customer driven solutions developed in close partnership with real operators in the field.
- A culture of autonomy and trust, where engineers act like founders and build with urgency and care.
- 6 or more years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in a startup or high growth environment.
- Proven ability to own projects end to end, from architecture through deployment and iteration.
- Demonstrated experience building and shipping production LLM systems, including orchestration, agent workflows, structured outputs, or evaluation pipelines.
- Strong development skills in technologies such as React, TypeScript, Go, Node, or Python, with adaptability valued over any single stack.
- Excellent engineering judgment, knowing when to move fast and when to build durable foundations.
- A track record of making high impact system or product decisions that improved user outcomes or team velocity.
- An ownership mindset, acting in the best interest of customers and the company without waiting for permission.
- Passion for solving real operational complexity, with exposure to commodities, logistics, or data automation as a plus.
