About The Role
We are looking for a Quantitative Software Engineer to design and build production-grade systems that combine generative AI, data analysis, and rigorous experimentation. In this role you will turn complex, real-world data into working solutions that directly power research, products, and decision-making.
What You’ll Do
- Prototype and productionize large language model and multimodal solutions.
- Work with diverse datasets to extract useful features and build signals.
- Design experiments, benchmarks, and evaluation methods for reliability and performance.
- Develop resilient, low-latency services and scalable data pipelines.
- Create libraries, tools, and CI/CD workflows to accelerate research and development.
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product teams to deliver measurable impact.
- 2-8+ years of experience building production systems with machine learning or quantitative methods.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and evaluation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow is a plus.
- Strong software engineering skills—algorithms, data structures, testing, and performance tuning.
- Ability to handle imperfect, large-scale data and design reliable pipelines.
- Comfortable designing experiments and communicating tradeoffs clearly.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience optimizing GPU/TPU inference, quantization, or serving models at scale.
- Background in time-series forecasting or risk-aware evaluation.
- Knowledge of secure development, privacy, and compliance in data systems.
- Contributions to open-source machine learning or data tools.
