Lead high impact growth across mission critical defense accounts.

A rapidly growing technology company delivering advanced SaaS, analytics, and AI driven solutions to the Department of Defense is seeking a seasoned sales leader to guide and scale a high performing federal team. This is a strategic leadership role focused on expanding adoption of mission enabling software across the United States Air Force, Space Force, and Navy.

You will oversee a team of six Account Executives responsible for driving revenue within complex defense environments. The ideal candidate understands how to navigate operational commands and mission stakeholders, not just traditional IT or CIO channels.

Your Impact

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives focused on Air Force, Space, and Navy accounts.
  • Shape and execute a go to market strategy centered on mission command and operational leadership within the DoD.
  • Drive pipeline development, capture strategy, and deal execution across complex federal sales cycles.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior defense stakeholders aligned to operational readiness and mission outcomes.
  • Partner cross functionally with marketing, product, and customer success to align field feedback with solution evolution.
  • Establish a culture of accountability, forecasting discipline, and consistent quota attainment.

What You Bring

  • Director level experience leading federal sales teams, specifically managing Account Executives focused on the Department of Defense.
  • Proven track record of selling into mission command structures and operational buyers rather than exclusively IT or CIO organizations.
  • Background in enterprise SaaS, advanced analytics, or AI and machine learning platforms.
  • Deep understanding of defense procurement processes, budget cycles, and stakeholder mapping.
  • Experience closing complex, multi stakeholder deals within highly regulated environments.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire performance and elevate team capability.
