As an Account Manager at CIBO you’ll join a collaborative team of crop modelers, software developers, data scientists, and agronomists, working to accelerate sustainable agriculture. You will be the point of escalation and partner closely with internal cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence for our clients. What does this role look like?

As a Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for multiple accounts; develop positive working relationships with all customer touch points.
  • Create comprehensive implementation plans with timelines, milestones, and necessary resources.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales and other areas of Operations to provide recommendations on process improvements to deliver to the clients’ expectations.
  • Develop and maintain industry knowledge and understand client challenges and opportunities that may inform how we can improve the services we provide.
  • Become an expert in the CIBO Impact platform to be able to recommend appropriate solutions to clients, troubleshoot issues and influence future product enhancements to meet client and operational needs.
  • Contribute to user stories for product and tool enhancements and partner with Product and Engineering to schedule stories into the roadmap and ensure on-time delivery for clients and internal teams.

We value candidates who:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in account management within a fast-paced SaaS organization ideally within the agricultural technology or sustainability sectors
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously
  • Experience with JIRA, Excel, Zendesk, and CRM tools
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables on multiple projects as well as internal obligations
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and action-driven with the ability to take initiative, execute, and follow-through
  • Highly effective communicator with good people instincts
  • Working knowledge and experience with contracts and contract negotiations
  • Problem-solving abilities to address client concerns and technical issues
  • Have excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
