Position Description: Account Manager, Trusted Advisor Network
This position is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Trusted Advisor Network, focusing on the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), commercial regenerative ag programs, and CIBO software platform. The role involves training, customer service, relationship management, and sales enablement to ensure the success of the Trusted Advisor Network and alignment with CIBO's goals. This role also includes working closely with local USDA NRCS offices.
Responsibilities
- Sales Enablement: Provide software demonstrations to potential and current customers. Partner with Sales to create and execute go-to-market strategies for EQIP and Commercial Programs. Collaborate with the Sr. Sales Executive to develop individual go-to-market, onboarding and training strategies for each Independent Advisor.
- EQIP Program Training: Develop and deliver training materials on USDA EQIP Program rules, including handouts, videos, and training decks, in partnership with the Marketing and Product teams. Create and deliver a training curriculum for the EQIP program, adjusting the content for specific state requirements and advisor expertise. Take ownership of the training relationship regarding EQIP Program rules and regulations throughout all stages of the partnership, from pre-sales to growth. Schedule and complete training milestones for each advisor, and repeat training annually or more often as needed. Provide in-field training and support to Trusted Advisor Network partners.
- Platform Support and Customer Service: Collaborate with the CIBO Operations team to address software program enhancements. Respond to customer questions regarding the use of the software platform. Field software bugs from clients, in collaboration with the Operations team.
- USDA NRCS Relationship Management: Manage the relationship with USDA NRCS county offices to ensure clear and consistent communication among advisors, CIBO, and the USDA. Develop and implement communication plans in partnership with the Sales and Product teams.
Qualifications
- Deep Ag Retail experience preferred
- USDA program experience, ideally with EQIP and in a local office in the Midwest
- Licensed TSP a plus
- Agronomic expertise (CCA) strongly preferred, or on-farm commercial agriculture experience
- Comfort with learning new software programs and proficient in Office or Google Suite applications
Travel: Expect 50% travel, or more on a seasonal basis
