Senior Content Manager

Who we are:
CIBO is a science-based software company focused on understanding agricultural ecosystems at a system level. We strive to solve some of our planet’s most important problems—including those related to climate change, soil health, water quality, carbon sequestration, and global food security.
We are seeking a prolific and talented content creator to plan, write and produce various types of thought leadership and lead generation content to expand our company’s brand awareness, digital footprint, subscribers, and leads. This role requires a high level of creativity, ability to produce high volumes of polished and professional content, attention to detail, and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and demonstrate deep awareness of industry trends, target customer interests and needs as well as the company's unique value proposition and capabilities
- Build and manage a rich content and editorial calendar that tells our story effectively and attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.) as well as events and campaigns
- Create at least two significant resources each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, attendees and/or other important metrics (examples include ebooks, whitepapers, videos, webinars, infographics, guides, templates, etc.)
- Manage review and feedback process for all materials
- Blog on an ongoing basis to support and promote content offers to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers.
- Draft press releases and bylines editorial articles, in collaboration with agency
- Grow our subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests.
- Oversee and where needed undertake high quality design work for all materials
- Collaborate with designers, product owners, sales professionals, and external influencers, and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
- Provide content and story lines, as needed, to website, advertising campaigns, and presentations
- Convince others that your creative ideas are worth investing time and effort in.
This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every single day.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Significant experience producing high quality, high volume content for a B2B SaaS company or agency that supports B2B tech marketing
- Experience leveraging a wide variety of go to market channels (ie blog/newsletter, SlideShare, YouTube/Vimeo, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, review platforms, etc.).
- Past experience building audiences either online or offline.
- A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be a strong project manager, process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
- AI savvy: you use AI to be more productive, but without compromising quality, accuracy or copyrights
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign) or equivalent tools.
- Experience in the agriculture industry and/or sustainability markets is strongly preferred
- BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience, MBA is a plus.
