About the role

We are looking for an Intern to join our team in support of our Back-end Engineering team responsible for the deployment of Chloris’ innovative technology by enterprises active in the voluntary carbon markets.

We are looking for someone who:

Responsibilities

Design, test, and build the backend software which delivers Chloris Geospatial’s unique insights. Work closely with a Senior Engineering mentor to test, integrate and optimize scientific code bringing it to production

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recently completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field
• 0-2 years of professional software engineering experience
• 1-2 years of experience using Python or similar language
• Understanding of Object Oriented and Functional Programming paradigms
• Independent and self-motivated with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Location + Time Commitment

This position is hourly and will based in Boston. The ability to work from Chloris's Back Bay co-working space periodically is highly desired.
