We are looking to add a temporary Simulation and Modeling Technician to our team for the summer. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, startup environment and are passionate about leading-edge hardware for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we would like to hear from you.
As a Simulation and Modeling Technician, you will have the opportunity to gain practical hands-on experience in various aspects of engineering while supporting the daily operations of our engineering teams. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in Engineering.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development and operation of simulations focused on spacecraft communication systems.
  • Assist with payload, multi-beam user modeling for marketing outputs.
  • Assist in organization and set up of test equipment.
  • Follow established work instructions and electronics lab policies and procedures in the development of space electronics.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current enrollment in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Engineering degree program at an accredited institution. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering focus preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Engineering principles.
  • Some prior experience in an electronics lab is desired.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of attention to detail and standards is critical as this position will interface or use complex, high value equipment and tools.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
