We are looking to add a Senior Recruiter to our team. If you enjoy working in a startup environment and are passionate about hiring top talent to work on satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we would like to hear from you.
In this position, you will manage full-cycle recruitment activities, play a critical role in identifying top talent, and support hiring efforts across operations, administrative, and manufacturing functions. This is a multifaceted job that requires the ability to effectively assess the capabilities of candidates, along with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to understand and promote the vision and culture of CesiumAstro. Talent acquisition activities will include sourcing candidates from a variety of platforms and helping to develop high-impact recruiting strategies.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand the requirements of each role and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Engage in full-cycle recruitment from screening applicants to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit to negotiating and extending offer packages.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, industry conferences, and networking events, to build a strong pool of qualified candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate candidate qualifications and provide strategic hiring recommendations.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and transparency.
  • Assist with a wide array of additional functions as necessary within a high growth startup.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience; aerospace or manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of roles in operations, administrative, and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to connect with passive candidates.
  • Proven experience managing full life cycle recruiting, including candidate screening, hiring manager consultation, interview coordination, and offer extension.
  • Proven ability to use recruiting techniques such as cold calling candidates, planning and executing networking events, locating industry experts and coming up with creative ways to interact with them, and developing original focused sourcing campaigns.
  • Ability to manage multiple high priority requisitions at one time.
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
