We are looking to add an Electronics Manufacturing Technician IV to our team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced startup environment, and are passionate about developing leading-edge hardware for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we would like to hear from you.
In this position, you will be responsible for the test and qualification of electronic assemblies for space and other related platforms. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include setting up, calibrating, and troubleshooting test or measuring equipment, conduct tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards and sequences, troubleshooting electromechanical assemblies, and completing administrative functions like process documentation. In addition, you will support technical manufacturing/design analysis and root cause of non-conformances – such as component specification drift and manufacturing process improvements, ensuring products meet designed specification.
You will work closely with both the manufacturing and design engineering teams, program management, and external contract manufacturers supporting the industrialization of our space products for a growing market that combines the rigor of space with the scale of commercial electronics. Your work will have a direct impact on the success of the company.

Successful candidates will have, as a minimum:

  • Associate of Applied Science (AS) degree required
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience manufacturing and testing of high reliability electronic components in aerospace or other high reliability industries
  • Experience in testing analog and RF circuits using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and similar test equipment included automated test stations
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of RF and electronics theory
  • Ability to read and interpret work/assembly instructions, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, specification documents and electronic schematics
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) of electronics hardware
  • Experience with change management, nonconformance documentation, root cause analysis, corrective action systems, and acceptance criteria
  • Proficiency with PLM and ERP software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience successfully tackling multiple high-priority tasks
  • Ability to meet vision acuity requirements including color vision
  • Statistical process control
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001, certification desired
  • Experience working within AS9100/ISO9001 quality management system requirements
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing methodologies
