About The Team
You will be part of a dynamic and autonomous team of Careem veterans and "new tigers" on a mission to expand Careem Shops. We are building a world-class on-demand ecosystem for groceries, pharmacies, and specialty retail, all while staying aligned with our core values: ownership, shooting for the moon, and being of service to our customers, partners, and captains.
What You'll Do
- Field Sales Execution: Identify, pitch, and commercially close partnerships with retail outlets (Groceries, Pharmacies, Flower shops, Roasteries, etc.) to onboard them onto the Careem platform.
- Diverse Portfolio Management: Target a mix of "Top Tier" supermarket chains and "Long Tail" neighborhood convenience stores and specialty shops.
- Geographic Mapping: Identify high-potential retail clusters and residential "dark spots" within the city to ensure we have the right shop density to serve our customers' daily needs.
- Negotiation & Closing: Secure competitive commercials, category exclusivity, and exclusive consumer deals/offers from retail partners.
- Sales Strategy: Execute sales plans according to set objectives and maintain meticulous records of prospecting activities to optimize the sales funnel.
What You'll Need
- The "Hunter" Mentality: A genuine passion for sales, convincing people, and closing deals in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel is a must) and a natural flair for e-commerce and internet-led business models.
- Market Intelligence: Strong knowledge of the Abu Dhabi retail landscape and consumer shopping habits.
- Resilience: Ability to thrive under pressure, meet stretched targets with limited resources, and use "smart-tech" thinking to solve logistical or onboarding hurdles.

- Requirements:
- Candidates must be on their own Visa (Student/Spouse/Parent).
- A UAE driving license is a significant advantage for field-based activities.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across local and regional teams.
