Since 2012, Careem has enabled earnings for over 2.5 million Captains, simplified the lives of more than 70 million customers, and built a platform where the region’s best talent and entrepreneurs thrive. We operate in 70+ cities across 10 countries, from Morocco to Pakistan.

We’re now entering our next chapter — one powered by AI. We’re looking for AI talent: curious problem-solvers who know how to apply AI to build tools, automate workflows, and create real impact. Whether it’s streamlining operations, enhancing customer experience, or reimagining internal systems — we want people who can make Careem work smarter and move faster.

We’re Hiring: Senior Reward Specialist – Talent CoE

Careem is looking for a data-driven Senior Reward Specialist to join our Talent Centre of Excellence (CoE). In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our rewards strategy, helping to build the frameworks and job architectures that power our teams.

If you are an analytical problem-solver who enjoys collaborating with the business to ensure our compensation structures are scalable, equitable, and impactful, we’d love to have you on board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rewards Cycle Management: Support the end-to-end execution of annual and mid-year compensation reviews and bonus cycles, ensuring zero-error delivery and high data hygiene.

  • Job Architecture & Sizing: Apply job evaluation logic and leveling frameworks consistently to ensure internal equity; provide expert guidance on job sizing for new and evolving roles.

  • Data Visualization & Insights: Transform "real-world" pay data into clear, high-quality documentation and visual dashboards that influence leadership decisions.

  • Process Optimization: Actively identify blockers in reward workflows and implement solutions to automate or simplify cycle management.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with TA and HRBPs to provide benchmarking insights and offer-positioning support, ensuring alignment with our global reward strategy.

  • Organizational Design: Contribute to the development of job families and grading structures that anticipate future business needs and organizational scaling.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3–6 years of experience in Rewards, Compensation, or HR Analytics, with a strong grasp of Job Evaluation methodologies (e.g., Mercer or Hay).

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Google Sheets/Excel, Looker Studio/PowerBI for complex data modeling, simulation, and trend analysis.

  • Effective Communication: Ability to structure thoughts clearly and produce high-quality summaries that make complex reward topics easy for others to understand.

  • Action-Oriented: A proactive self-starter who moves decisively on priorities and takes initiative without needing constant direction.

  • Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to build cross-functional alignment and share information openly to discourage "silo" behavior.

What will make you stand out

  • The Architect: You don't just apply leveling; you anticipate organization-wide implications and proactively advise leaders on future-proofing their structures.

  • The Optimizer: You go beyond executing cycles—you automate them to remove friction for everyone involved.

  • The Influencer: You use your top-tier communication and documentation skills to change decisions and align stakeholders behind a unified reward strategy.

What we’ll provide you

We offer colleagues the opportunity to drive impact in the region while they learn and grow. As a full time Careem colleague, you will be able to:
