Careem is looking for a talented and driven Accounting Manager to join our Finance team! If you’re passionate about building impactful financial processes in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with timely and high-quality reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial reporting and process efficiency.
- Leverage SQL, Power BI, automation tools, and AI-driven solutions to streamline processes, improve reporting accuracy, and build insightful dashboards.
- Lead and support initiatives around process automation and digital transformation within Finance.
- Assist with audits, internal controls, and continuous process improvements.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and present findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Professional qualification: CA, ACCA, or MBA (Finance).
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of IFRS; exposure to US GAAP is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, automation tools, and familiarity with AI applications in finance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and tech-driven environment.
