About the team

Careem's Marketplace Performance Leads form the foundation of our organization. They are dedicated to maintaining exceptional marketplace KPIs, ensuring our customers receive the best possible experience while optimizing supply earnings and utilization. Responsible for all KPIs throughout the marketplace process, our Marketplace Leads focus on efficiently managing supply-base to deliver a high-quality customer experience and ensure consistent customer growth.

What you'll do

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring service reliability and achieving revenue and trip targets.
  • Retaining captains through engagement initiatives and managing budget spend.
  • Taking ownership of country setups and configurations to enhance customer experience, supply growth, and performance.
  • Utilizing a data-driven approach to analyze the entire journey from booking to ride completion, and implementing initiatives to optimize marketplace KPIs.
  • Demonstrating strong SQL skills for pre and post campaign analysis, A/B testing, prediction modeling, dashboarding, and effective communication with captains.
  • Actively participating in operational tasks such as campaigns and configurations based on data insights.
  • Coordinating with other operations teams to streamline captain supply acquisition, retention, engagement, and enhance customer experience, ensuring optimal marketplace health.
  • Managing performance updates and closely collaborating with stakeholders including commercial, finance, and marketing teams.

What you'll need

  • BA/BS in Engineering, Science, Business, Computer, Software etc.
  • 1-2 years of experience in data driven/business oriented roles
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self motivated team player
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel is a must
  • Visualization/Dashboard skills in any BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI etc.
  • Python skills are a plus
