What You'll Do

  • Conduct end-to-end internal control reviews which include developing process walkthroughs through flowcharts, performing detailed testing, control mapping, and building comprehensive Risk Control Matrices (RCMs) to ensure all controls are appropriately identified, documented, and linked to relevant risks for all verticals.
  • Performing thorough risk assessments by identifying, analyzing, and evaluating potential risks to the organization, contributing to developing effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate/ liaise with various technology stakeholders to coordinate and facilitate the execution of external audits, ensuring alignment and compliance with audit requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors and business owners to address observations by developing and implementing effective remediation plans, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution of issues.
  • Support the delivery of Internal controls (SOX-ICFR methodology) and frameworks.
  • Coordinate with Group companies internal controls testing.
  • Coordinate and follow up with business owners for timely implementation of proposed controls and addressing observations.
  • Extract and analyze business-related data using SQL and propose necessary process improvements.
  • Support in automation of internal controls testing and monitoring using risk management modules in Oracle.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reporting decks on internal controls assignments and other stakeholder meetings for leadership.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc projects as advised by the line manager / HoD.

What You'll Need

  • ACCA / CA Finalist or Bachelors in Accounting / Finance / Risk Management
  • Proficiency in any analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, R/Python)
  • Preferably 4+ years of relevant experience (from Big 4 firms or internal audit/controls function at a reputable organization);
  • Ability to effectively prioritize day-to-day responsibilities and longer-term projects in a fast-paced, challenging environment;
  • Strong project management, organizational, and collaborative skills to develop and implement solutions.
  • Understanding of tech industry will be an additional plus point
