About the team
As a Sales intern, you will be responsible to go on the field and negotiate with restaurants and sign them to join the Careem food app. You will work closely with the head of commercial and head of sales to identify the right restaurants to go meet with and negotiate with them the right commission model. A super exciting and challenging task.
What you'll do
The role reports into the Commercial Manager, the main responsibilities of the role are the following:
- Work closely with the assigned team lead and complete all allocated tasks.
- Research and generate lists of potential merchant leads.
- Meet clients (restaurants) to discuss commercials and close deals.
- Update documents and sales records.
- Help develop client relationships and retain existing accounts
- Assist managers with negotiations
What you'll need
- Saudi National and not currently employed
- Passionate about sales and gets a kick out of closing deals.
- Skilled negotiator with deal management skills
- Responsible and accountable towards given targets.
- Proactive personality that takes initiative and action.
- Ambitious and growth driven, not just in it for the extra cash.
- Team player with a winning attitude.
- Driver's license is required to travel around the city.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
The internship is for a period of three to six months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
