💼 About the Role

As Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational performance of Budbee in the Benelux. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will combine strategic oversight with active involvement in operational execution. You will lead, develop, and inspire teams across logistics, terminals, and last-mile delivery while continuously improving processes and performance.

You will play a critical role in both strategic planning and day-to-day operational decision-making, ensuring high standards of delivery, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all Benelux operations, including terminals, last-mile delivery, and logistics teams.
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and make informed decisions to optimize operational performance.
Collaborate with other European markets and share best practices.
Collaborate with Product Teams at Instabee HQ to drive & implement innovations in the Benelux market
Lead, mentor, and manage teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and tools.
Take ownership of operational challenges and ensure they are resolved efficiently.
Support growth initiatives, including scaling new terminals, launching new routes, and expanding service offerings.

🙋 About You

At least 10 years of proven experience in e-commerce logistics and operations, including terminal management, coordination with logistics providers, and technology-driven process optimization.
Hands-on leader who actively engages with operations and teams to ensure delivery excellence.
Strong people management skills – able to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and implement change effectively.
Experience in Senior Management Teams, with exposure to both strategic planning and operational execution.
Proficient in analytics and data-driven decision making, with the ability to interpret KPIs and drive operational improvements.
Comfortable working in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
Strong business acumen – understands the broader business implications of operational decisions.
Experience in the Dutch market is a strong plus; experience in other European markets is also valuable.
Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are highly appreciated and considered a strong bonus.
Decisive, straightforward, and able to balance strategic leadership with operational oversight.
