Your mission: drive revenue growth and expand the client portfolio across Canada.

As a Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our sales strategies in the region and work in close relationship with the entire organization (product, presales, project and operations teams).

The Sales Director supports the growth of Broadpeak video contribution, distribution, and IP broadcast solutions. This hybrid technical‑commercial role involves working closely with broadcasters, OTT platforms, telecom operators, and ISPs to design and sell end‑to‑end video delivery workflows.

Your main missions are :

Grow relationship with existing customers and expand market reach in Canada

  • Work directly with leading media companies in the video industry ISPs and Broadcasters, pure OTT players, to help them address their streaming business needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with ISPs partners, broadcasters, streaming platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment of solutions.
  • Together with VP Sales, define a sales plan for the region and drive its execution.

Strategic Account Management and Customer nurtering

  • Map client's organization and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to understand their needs and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Ensure understanding and bring tailored solutions solving their problems.
  • Entry point representative for existing contracts, you will orchestrate the activities with the rest of the organization (project manager, product, presales).
  • Prepare proposals, pricing models, and contract negotiations.

Continuous improvement missions

  • Monitor industry trends in streaming, digital media, and ISP‑related distribution ecosystems.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and sales operations teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Use our internal CRM to report selling activities and account management.

Profile required

Hold a university degree in Business OR Engineering

Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Sales and/or Business development in the broadcast media industry.

Senior level business relationships with leading video streaming providers (OTT) .

Strong understanding of the video delivery and ISP network constraints with proven success in selling OTT video delivery solutions and services as well as focus on video service providers.

Fluency in oral and written English is essential.

French would be a plus.

  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Ability to work as a team leader, following Broadpeak’s values.

Working Conditions

  • Remote position
  • Travels to meet customers, when needed (minimum 30 %)
