What will be my main missions?
You will integrate security into every stage of the software development lifecycle—automatically, continuously, and proactively—to ensure the reliability, compliance, and resilience of Broadpeak's products and IT systems.
The Security Engineer sits at the intersection of security and programming, making security a central component of their work.
You will participate in the design, delivery, maintenance, and automation of the security components of Broadpeak’s solutions.
You collaborate closely with R&D, using tools and practices that ensure robust security at every step of development and deployment.
You play the role of a security best-practice ambassador and serve as a key point of contact for R&D and Operations technical teams.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- System hardening: Develop and maintain scripts to harden Linux and Kubernetes environments, following best practices from ANSSI and the CIS benchmark. Provide support to internal teams and Broadpeak customers.
- Vulnerability management:In partnership with the Security Architect, handle the full lifecycle of vulnerability management, including identification, evaluation, remediation, and deployment tracking. Contribute to improvements in the vulnerability management solution.
- Secure software development:Work with development teams to embed security into every stage of the software creation process.
- Incident response and post-mortem analysis:Contribute to incident handling and retrospective investigations to strengthen overall security posture.
What are the requirements?
- You hold a degree in computer science and have a strong interest in security-related topics and emerging technologies.
- Ideally, you have 2–3 years of experience as a Security Engineer within a software development company (any relevant combination of education and experience will be considered).
- You possess knowledge of the ISO 27001 standards.

If you are selected to carry on, you'll be invited onsite for technical tests as well as technical interview with Manager and team member.
If you suceed, you'll have two additional HR interviews.
