GTM Automation Manager

We're looking for a skilled Automation Manager to design, build, and deploy the AI and automation systems that power Bolt for Business's commercial growth — shipping production-grade systems that directly move commercial metrics across markets, from day one.Location: London, United Kingdom

About the role

As an Automation Manager within Bolt's AI Centre of Excellence, you will own the end-to-end design, build, and deployment of AI and automation systems that drive commercial impact across Bolt for Business. This is not a prototyping role — you'll ship production systems that measurably move metrics like orders per rep, deal conversion rates, and time saved across Sales and Account Management teams. Reporting to the AI & Automation Manager, you'll work across data, AI, and automation to translate strategic commercial priorities into working technical solutions — with the autonomy to make real implementation decisions along the way. As one of the first hires into the AI Centre of Excellence, you'll help shape how AI and automation are embedded across the entire commercial funnel, with room to grow your influence and your team as the function scales.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Design and deploy agentic AI systems integrated into commercial workflows — including LLM API integrations, orchestration logic, state management, prompt design, output validation, and deterministic fallbacks — applied to use cases like qualification, content generation, and prioritisation.
Build and maintain advanced workflow automations using platforms like n8n, Zapier, or Make, writing JavaScript for workflow logic and data transformation, and developing API integrations across Salesforce and internal/external platforms.
Extract, transform, and structure commercial and CRM datasets using SQL and Databricks to support scoring, prioritisation, and automation use cases — ensuring data consistency across Salesforce and connected platforms.
Define KPIs for every automation and AI initiative, track commercial impact (orders per rep, time saved, deal conversion), and iterate on systems based on performance data to quantify and improve ROI.
Implement logging, error handling, monitoring standards, and scalable architecture patterns to ensure production-grade reliability across all deployed systems and markets. Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and broader commercial stakeholders to scope problems, architect solutions, and establish scalable AI and automation standards within Bolt for Business.

About you:

You have hands-on experience building and shipping workflow automations using platforms like n8n, Zapier, or Make into production environments — not just demos.
You write solid JavaScript for workflow logic and data transformation, and are comfortable working with REST APIs, webhooks, and multi-system integrations.
You have integrated LLM APIs (e.g. Claude, GPT) into real commercial or operational workflows, and understand prompt engineering, output validation, and agent architecture patterns. You bring strong SQL skills with hands-on experience on platforms like Databricks, and know your way around Salesforce or a comparable CRM.

You can translate a commercial process into a technical solution independently — scoping the problem, architecting the solution, and owning it through to measurable results.
You have a background in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent practical experience), and ideally exposure to tools like Python, GitHub, Clay, or AI agent frameworks.

Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don't tick every box, please consider applying!
