Senior Operations Specialist, Marketplace
As a Senior Operations Specialist – Marketplace based in Paris, you’ll strengthen the profitability and health of Bolt’s French marketplace by guiding pricing decisions for all French cities, running the market sizing & planning rhythm that guides targets and forecasts, and ensuring pricing & payouts remain compliant. Your work will directly influence marketplace performance, pricing/payouts compliance, and the quality of decision-making across France.Location: Paris, France
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Play a key role in shaping the monthly business rhythm for the city portfolio (forecasting, budgeting, variance vs target, MBR, quarterly reviews), own market sizing as a strategic decision tool, and turn performance insights into clear narratives and concrete actions with local P&L owners.
Take full ownership of pricing decisions for long-tail cities, using data to define clear rationale and measurable impact. Partner closely with Product and Analytics to ensure pricing logic translates into tangible operational results.
Lead recurring pricing and payout audits, proactively identify risks, and partner with Billing, Marketplace, and Compliance teams to ensure accurate payments and full regulatory adherence.
Turn complex data into clear narratives and recommendations that influence decisions and execution.
Establish repeatable processes to capture competitor insights and publish focused deep-dives that influence pricing and marketplace strategy.
Regularly engage (~2 days/month) with drivers, fleet partners, and hubs to keep decisions rooted in real marketplace dynamics, challenge assumptions, and convert field insights into measurable improvements in pricing, competitive positioning, and compliance execution.
Help bring new cities to life by providing analytical and operational support during launch and early ramp, ensuring strong foundations and a smooth handover to local P&L owners.
About you:
Analytical and strategic thinking- you’re comfortable owning decisions from messy inputs and turning analysis into action
You have 3–6 years of experience in marketplace operations, strategy, business analytics, consulting, or similar.
Professional fluency in both French and English.
You are fluent in SQL and comfortable with spreadsheets/BI; you enjoy building lightweight automation to scale insights. Python is a plus.
Stakeholder-ready: you can align local P&L owners, central analytics, Product, Billing, Legal/Compliance, and Public Policy.
Process & compliance mindset; attentive to details in pricing, payouts, and audit trails.
Strong ownership and accountability: You hold a high bar for decision quality, ensure transparency and rigor in how decisions are made, and follow through to operational execution.
