Senior Analytics Engineer, AI Analytics

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our AI Analytics initiative and build the scalable, secure, and high-quality data products that will power the next generation of data-driven decision-making through Artificial Intelligence at Bolt.Location: Tallinn, Estonia

About the role

The AI Analytics workgroup is on a mission to transform conversational analytics from a proof of concept into a robust, enterprise scale capability that powers data driven decision making across Bolt. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will help shape the future of AI in analytics by building a scalable, trusted, and secure solution that goes far beyond experimentation. In 2025, the team laid the foundation by delivering the first working iteration of AI assisted analytics and aligning data modeling around a single source of truth called curated data. This foundation now supports all AI agents and enables high impact self serve analytics for both business users and developers. In 2026, the focus is on scaling this impact across the company. You will contribute to expanding AI ready data coverage, launching general domain agents for broader audiences, and implementing secure and scalable access management for AI driven workflows. You will also help explore next generation tooling and drive measurable productivity gains across the Data Analytics organization. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of applied AI in a fast growing environment, solving complex enterprise scale challenges, building multi agent solutions for sophisticated business questions, and designing secure authentication across the data stack. By joining the team, you will play a key role in defining how Bolt interacts with its data and empowering colleagues to make faster, safer, and better informed decisions every day.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Establish standards and best practices for creating trusted curated data for AI agents, ensuring high-quality source of truth coverage.
Lead the development and guide the maintenance of general-purpose domain data agents for various domains (Rides, Delivery, Customer Support) to boost self-service adoption.
Own the discovery and implementation of AI agent validation tools and benchmark tests to ensure the accuracy and auditable nature of AI-generated output.
Partner with Data Platform to integrate curated data into Databricks Genie's knowledge store and define how Looker, Databricks and other AI agents will co-exist.
Establish AI-assisted patterns and integrations, to improve the developer experience in the data teams.
Proactively mentor the organisation in using and scaling the use of AI Analytics.

About you:

You have significant experience with data modeling and developing analytics architectures, especially for consumption by AI systems over large volumes of data.
You are proficient in SQL, Python, data modelling tools such as dbt, and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, and have exposure to Looker and Databricks.
You possess excellent knowledge of system design and architectural best practices with a focus on reusability, maintainability, reliability, and scalability.
You have a clear interest in analytics engineering topics, specifically in the application of modern data stack principles to AI analytics use cases.
You are a strong cross-functional collaborator with a good business sense and excellent verbal and written English communication skills, especially when bridging Engineering, and Analytics teams.
You hold a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, or similar studies.

Experience is great, but we also look for drive, intelligence, and integrity. So, even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying if you feel you’re the kind of person described above!
