Compliance Systems Analyst

We are looking for a technically strong and motivated Compliance Systems Analyst to join our Risk & Compliance department. This role is suited to someone who enjoys bridging the gap between business needs and practical, data and automation-forward solutions, building scalable reporting and improving compliance work on a systems level across our organisation. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, looks at processes end-to-end from data pipelines to workflow automation, and is able to translate stakeholder needs into robust technical solutions.Locations: Tartu, Estonia | Tallinn, Estonia

About the role

As a Compliance Systems Analyst, you will play a business-critical role in managing the data and infrastructure around Bolt’s risk and compliance processes.. You will be responsible for the health of our GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) system, the quality of our reporting, and the automation of manual tasks that allow our Legal & Compliance teams to scale globally.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Drive the evolution of our GRC platform through configuration and automation.
Design and deploy automated workflows using platforms like n8n or Zapier to reduce manual data entry and increase team efficiency.
Develop complex Looker dashboards that provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders and external regulators.
Deep dive into complex data sets to identify quality issues, root causes, and emerging risks.
Lead the delivery of technical projects, ensuring smooth rollouts through rigorous change management and clear stakeholder communication.
Partner with sub-teams across Bolt to identify process optimisations and propose scalable technical improvements. Once on-boarded, you will be building and maintaining robust DBT models and Databricks notebooks to support data-driven decision-making.

About you:

You have at least 2+ years of experience in an analytical or systems-focused role.
You possess solid SQL skills (no need to be a data modelling wizard, but being able to read complex queries is a must, as well as being open to developing your skills further).
You are experienced with BI tools and data visualisation (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
You have a demonstrated ability to build automations using n8n and/or Zapier
You understand risk management and compliance processes and are excited to apply technology to these domains.
You have strong project management skills, and you understand the importance of change management and stakeholder involvement.
You can simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and have excellent communication skills.
You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
You get extra points if you have experience in data modelling with DBT/Databricks/Airflow, and experience with automation using Python.
