About The Role
During this strategic role you will be managing the Operations Team as well as working closely with our local teams (Customer Support, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal) and HQ teams (Global Operations, Marketing, Product, Regulatory, Analytics).

In this role, you'll contribute to the overall strategy across Bolt and support the Country Manager and Managing Director in every aspect of the business. You'll be responsible for ensuring outstanding supply quality and availability, managing strategic relationships with drivers and major stakeholders. Your goal is to strive for operational excellence by maintaining and continuously improving processes.

Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Vision: Implement the mission and strategy for the local operations - from a growth, profitability, and customer experience perspective.
- KPI Ownership: Ensuring outstanding driver quality and engagement in a highly competitive space. Demonstrate accountability and ownership.
- Leadership: Rely on the strength of our teams, continue building, developing, and leading a team of passionate people who work towards shaping the future of the local operations. Be the right hand of our Country Manager. Lead by example and establish an inclusive and successful team culture.
- Process Improvement: Overseeing the optimisation of local operational processes and procedures. Find ways to do things better and make existing processes more efficient and automated, including standardising and centralising processes and working with Product and support functions to systematise our needs.
- Problem solving: Work with local, regional and global teams to resolve critical problems impacting the business and ensure that insights advise broader critical initiatives. Ensuring both local operations and HQ teams support and collaborate actively with each other. Identifying trends, risks and improvement opportunities on a local level that may impact the business.
- Relationship management: Build and maintain excellent relationship with the fleets, drivers, regulators and key stakeholders. Designing and executing strategies to increase driver engagement and retention while managing our high performing operations team.
- You have 3+ years of experience managing people and building-improving processes
- You have a data-driven decision mentality and demonstrate sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking
- You have a solid track record of building and performing in a highly cross-functional environment
- You are extremely proactive, with a self-starter mentality and strong organisational and project management skills
- You are a strong communicator, clear and concise, with the ability to synthesise information quickly, highlight the important points, and share concrete insights.
- You have excellent English and native-level Hungarian language skills
