About The Role
The role holder oversees and delivers strategic procurement, including negotiations, processes, compliance, contracting, and stakeholder management for the designated category and business units. This role will also advise the business on best Procurement practices and work to mitigate any possible commercial risk/exposure to Bolt.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Develop and lead strategic sourcing strategies for the procurement of goods and services, while supporting the Head of Sourcing in developing and executing the category strategy.
- Proactively monitor and understand the market and source opportunities resulting from new product offerings and/or market shifts.
- Perform spend analysis on large datasets to identify trends and opportunities that drive value and contribute to continuous data enrichment, ensuring accurate spend data provides valuable business intelligence.
- Develop and manage RFx (Requests for Proposals, Quotes, and Information) using Workday and support the business in bid evaluation processes, including collecting requirements, managing bidder communications, and analysing bid responses within the system.
- Develop strategy and lead the negotiation process - negotiate enterprise-wide agreements that minimise financial and business risk exposure and provide optimal value.
- Manage external supplier relationships and monitor agreement expirations for renewal, develop and manage the supply base in collaboration with internal partners, and evaluate and measure supplier performance.
- You have over 7 years of experience in sourcing, with detailed knowledge of the supply market, supplier capabilities, and competitor activity, as well as an understanding of emerging trends at a geographic and global level.
- You possess expertise in the successful development of sophisticated, multi-country contracts and agreements, while managing global and regional projects and programs to enhance performance and deliver services.
- You possess a detailed understanding of financial evaluation and the interpretation of suppliers’ records, including their key costs and business drivers. Additionally, you have a comprehensive understanding of the category total cost model, cost drivers, and all factors necessary to ensure a robust agreement for Bolt.
- You are a proven creative problem-solver, able to analyse information and processes and present cases using data and metrics.
- You have demonstrated leadership skills with a passion for collaborative teamwork, with solid communication skills to provide clear direction both visually and verbally to individuals at all levels of the company.
- You are extremely well-organised, with proven ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
