About The Role
As a Finance Data Analyst, you’ll transform financial data into insights that power smarter decisions and real-world impact. This role is all about turning numbers into action - automating data flows, uncovering trends, and helping our teams make data-driven decisions faster and better. You’ll collaborate across departments to refine and improve financial processes, build insightful dashboards, and ensure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll be the go-to expert for clean, accurate data and clear, actionable insights -driving change and making a difference.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Extract, compile, and validate financial data from various sources (internal databases, ERP systems, external sources), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery for core processes like monthly VAT reporting.
- Consolidate and analyse financial data to provide actionable insights for monthly reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and strategic decision-making.
- Automate data processes and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and data quality in financial analysis and business performance tracking.
- Build clear, impactful dashboards and visualisations that communicate financial data insights and enable better, faster decisions across teams.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and functional teams, understanding their data needs and helping them leverage analytics to enhance their work.
- Promote a data-driven culture and continuous improvement, proactively identifying and leading process enhancements while documenting best practices and data management standards.
- You have a background in finance or a related field and are comfortable navigating financial data and processes.
- You’re hands-on with SQL and Excel; experience with Python, R, or data modelling is a big plus.
- You have a passion for working with data, backed by strong analytical skills and a structured, problem-solving mindset.
- You’re experienced with BI tools and data visualisation platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Workiva) and enjoy creating clear, impactful insights.
- You’re a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
- You think like an owner - prioritising what matters, communicating clearly, and managing your work from start to finish.
- Your verbal and written communication skills are excellent, and you’re fluent in English.
