We are looking for an entrepreneurial and solutions-driven Senior Operations Manager with excellent analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills to take ownership of our Cyprus and Greece ride-hailing operations.

About The Role

Your role will have a direct and tangible impact through continuous improvement of the driver and rider experience by strengthening Bolt's value proposition in the marketplace by achieving industry-leading supply availability, pricing, and quality. You will be involved in the definition and implementation of the strategy of the Cyprus and Greece markets & hold a key strategic position in the management of the team.

This is a critical, impactful and highly rewarding role: Cyprus and Greece are an exciting market for Bolt and you will lead the mission to make urban travel more affordable, safe, convenient, and sustainable.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Designing and executing strategies to increase driver engagement and retention, while managing a high-performing team and driving business growth through the achievement of operational milestones and key metrics.
• Developing and nurturing critical relationships that will grow our business (stakeholders include: drivers; fleet owners; unions; regulators; government officials; local communities etc).
• Taking ownership of Bolt's growth in Cyprus and Greece by ensuring both local operations and HQ teams support and collaborate actively with each other to meet business objectives.
• Advocating and elevating Bolt's brand, product and service whilst navigating through regulatory matters and local policies within the transportation and tech industry.
• Overseeing the design and execution of operational strategies/goals to strengthen our value proposition.
• Identifying trends, risks and improvement opportunities on a local level that may impact the business.
  
  
  

About you:

• You have 5+ years of experience in an operations management or general management role.
• You are a strong leader and collaborator with excellent English & Greek negotiation and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• You are highly analytical and have a data-driven mindset with excellent Excel skills.
• You have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Economics, Finance or other analytical subject.
• You have a strong sense of ownership with a hands-on approach.
• You are comfortable with developing business frameworks to support your strategies and decisions.
